Kanon
A canon.

Key
A scale, the key being the first (tonic) note of the scale. The ultimate key or ending key in comparison to other keys used in a composition. A lever opening or closing a hole in a wind intrument. The lever that is moved to make the piano action strike the strings.

Keyboard
keyboard

The whole series of levers for producing tones in a piano, harpsichord or strings.

Key signature
The sharps or flats placed at the beginning of the staff to denote the scale upon which the music is based.
